56.10 $
Description
Thank you for looking.
This is the WINGED WHEEL No. 500 from Bessho Lamp Seisakusho, Japan's only hurricane lantern manufacturer.
This is a rare, vintage Japanese-made lantern that is currently difficult to obtain.
[Product Condition]
• Operation: The wick can be raised and lowered, the tank has been checked for leaks, and it has been confirmed to light up, with no practical issues.
• Exterior: There are signs of age typical of vintage items (paint peeling and rust), but these add a great deal of character.
• Glass Globe: There are no cracks or chips, and it is in clear condition.
[Features]
It possesses a warmth and robustness from being handmade by artisans, which is not found in current overseas products. This lantern is perfect for creating atmosphere at your campsite, and also makes a striking interior decoration.
I have maintained and used it with care, but due to downsizing for a move, I would like to pass it on to someone who appreciates its value.
