1968 Good Design Award Winner
Columbia Cassette Recorder
Official Name: Solid State Cassette Corder
Model Number: TRC-115

This item is unused and new, but due to long-term storage, the styrofoam and the black packing bag have adhered to the main unit, causing color transfer.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item.
We have taken photos of the sides to show the discoloration, so please consider purchasing with your understanding.

The warranty card is unopened, the cassette tape is unopened, and other items do not appear to have been opened.
We have not tested if it plays sound, assuming it is new.

We believe it has high value as a decorative item with a Showa retro atmosphere, so please consider purchasing it as a non-working junk item for its retro aesthetic.

This is a rare audio device from 58 years ago. The rugged Showa retro design has a great atmosphere. It is also very heavy due to its sturdy construction, which allows it to be worn over the shoulder. This is a rare product for collectors of retro music players.

By the way, what is a cassette corder?: It was a proprietary term used by manufacturers such as Columbia and Sony for portable cassette recorders that could record sound.

A part of the packing cardboard came off when opening the box (see photo). Please understand that there is deterioration, so extreme caution is required when opening.

Immediate purchase and purchase without comments are acceptable.

※Please only comment with price negotiation requests if you intend to purchase. We are open to reasonable price reductions.
