【Beautifully Maintained】Yuhobito SK-7N Stereo Cassette Player

I collected this model because I liked it.
The rubber belt has been replaced, the circuit board cleaned, and the head and rollers cleaned with a special solution.

Yuhodo was a Japanese manufacturer formerly based in Kumamoto.
They gained popularity in the early days of cassette Walkmans by successfully lowering prices. While not a major company, their sound quality is not bad, showcasing the high level of Japanese manufacturing at the time. They are cherished among cassette enthusiasts as a hidden gem of a manufacturer.

This is a one-way player without auto-reverse, featuring auto-stop and fast-forward functions during playback.
It operates on 2 dry batteries.
While there is significant white noise, the sound quality is not delicate but has a wild, analog-like, powerful, and warm tone that is not bad.
(It seemed to suit listening to 70s Aerosmith, so it might be a model suited for rock.)

Unlike SONY's single-belt drive, this model uses a two-belt drive for stability, resulting in less wow and flutter.
There is no rewind button. When rewinding is necessary, please flip the cassette over and use the fast-forward function.
The volume control is a slider, which is unusual, but it can produce a high volume.
