This is a serial cable used in the heyday of DTM in the 1990s to connect sound modules such as Roland SC-88Pro and YAMAHA MU series directly to personal computers (PC-9800 series and DOS/V machines).
Terminals: Mini-DIN 8-pin (male) on both ends
Use: Connects the COMPUTER terminal on the back of the sound module to the PC's serial port.
