SONY Hi-MD MZ-RH10 Portable MD Player Recorder

Model: Hi-MD MZ-RH10

Thank you for looking.

▼Product Condition
The main unit and cords are in relatively clean condition with no scratches or dirt.
The outer box has some corner dents and scuffs, but no tears.

▼Operation Check
As is common with this model, the main unit's display is not functioning. The included remote control works, so all operations can be performed by connecting the remote control. (See photos 18 and 19)
When I inserted the rechargeable battery into the main unit and tried to charge it with the charging stand, it displayed charging on the remote control as shown in photo 17. However, even after charging for a sufficient amount of time, the unit would not operate on the rechargeable battery alone after removing it from the charging stand. On the other hand, operation was confirmed when the rechargeable battery was inserted into the main unit AND the dry battery case with batteries was inserted into the main unit. It is suspected that the rechargeable battery is degraded or the connection between the rechargeable battery and the main unit is damaged, but the cause is unknown.
I have performed a full range of operational checks, including playback, but as this is an old item and may be affected by the operating environment, operation is not guaranteed. Please understand this before purchasing.
Also, returns are not accepted to prevent fraud.

▼Accessories
Please refer to photo 16. All items are included except for those crossed out in black.

The item will be shipped packed in its outer box. Thank you.
