This nagajuban features the popular KAMI-DOLL tailoring with three-dimensional pattern making.
While regular nagajuban are sewn with straight seams, this nagajuban has a three-dimensional construction around the collar, allowing even kimono beginners to achieve a beautiful emon (the gap at the nape of the neck) like an expert.
The material is Toray Silky's Yoryu (crepe fabric). Yoryu has raised crinkles (shibo), which reduce the surface area that touches the skin, making it feel cooler and more refreshing.
A dedicated han-eri (half collar) is already sewn on, so you don't need to attach one separately. If you wish to use a different han-eri, you can attach it over the existing one.
⚠️ Please be aware that if you remove the sewn-on han-eri, it cannot be reattached.
The eri-shin (collar stiffener) is also already included. This eri-shin is perfectly balanced – not too stiff, not too soft! If you prefer a crisper collar, you can adjust it by adding your own eri-shin to your preference.
[Materials] Nagajuban (unlined sleeves): 100% Polyester (Toray Silky)
Han-eri: 100% Polyester
Separate collar interlining: 65% Polyester, 35% Cotton

As mentioned in the description, the three-dimensional construction makes it easy to create the emon (gap at the nape of the neck), and with the included emon-nuki (neckline adjuster) and koshihimo (waist cord), it should be easy for kimono beginners to wear.
