ART PDB Direct Box DI Modified Item
36.30 $
Description
This is a passive type DI box from ART.
There are no issues with its operation.
The unit itself has many scratches and dirt marks as it was used in the field.
This DI has been modified to produce a much thicker sound.
As shown in the 4th photo, the input terminal is directly connected to the transformer with a single wire to prevent sound quality degradation.
This modification is very effective and allows the instrument's sound to be output with almost no degradation.
Compared to before the modification, the low frequencies are much more prominent, and the sound has good clarity and body. When recorded with a DAW, it will not be overshadowed by other instruments and will stand out in the mix.
This is for those looking for a DI box that minimizes sound quality degradation.
Please refrain from price reductions due to the nature of the product.
Instead, I believe I have kept the price quite reasonable.
