The X-Amp is a compact re-amplifier with the re-amping section separated from the previously released JD-7 Multi-Amp Injector. It accepts balanced, line-level signals (XLR) from recorders and audio interfaces without the level-dependent tonal changes and limitations of passive re-amplifiers. It then performs level matching to output the optimal level to two guitar amps and effects pedals while preventing problems like ground loops.
Furthermore, the X-Amp is constructed with a unique 100% discrete Class A circuit to ensure the pure sound of the recorded track is not compromised.
