■Details
A fishing jacket featuring popular multi-pockets. RON THOMPSON is a fishing gear brand mainly sold in Europe.

The fabric is a high-density woven poly-cotton with a PVC coating, giving it a Ventile-like stiffness. The thick, stiff fabric offers excellent wind resistance, and with a fleece or knit layer underneath, it provides warmth suitable for milder city temperatures around 13°C in December. The stiff fabric has developed a nice patina in areas of wear.

The numerous pockets and zippers on both the inside and outside are sure to appeal to the inner enthusiast.

While similar items can be found, they are often made of cheap nylon. This jacket, however, is made of thick material with a unique, slightly faded green color that exudes vintage charm and sets it apart.

A nearly identical jacket in poorer condition was sold for over 40,000 yen at Koenji Safari.

■Condition
Considering it's vintage, the fabric is in good condition. There is fading due to rubbing throughout, but no noticeable stains. The zipper on the left underarm is missing and cannot be opened. The pull tab on the left hip zipper is broken, with repairs to the surrounding fraying. A small tear of about 1cm next to that pocket has been repaired from the inside. There is a patch and repair marks on the inside next to the second button from the bottom. There is a pinhole on the left sleeve. A small scratch on the right sleeve. The inner nylon is clean. There is dirt on the cuffs. Washed. Overall, in good condition for a Euro vintage item and still wearable.
I like it, but I'm organizing my wardrobe and want to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
