Serviced and fully functional Aiwa TP-S70 monaural cassette recorder

Overview: The only monaural cassette recorder that offers stable operation in 3x mode (allowing 2 hours and 15 minutes of recording on one side of a 90-minute tape). This time, we have put in extra effort to address issues where not only the 3x mode was oscillating, but the motor itself was not running properly.

Other Features:
- Microphone sensitivity switching
- Voice Activated Recording (SLSS): When turned on, the motor stops if there is no sound for over 5 seconds during recording. Usually, keep this setting off.
- Voice Emphasis Recording (VZRS): When turned on, low and high frequencies are cut during recording. Usually, keep this setting off.
- Continuous playback speed adjustment
- Tape counter
- External microphone jack
- Cue & Review
- Auto-stop at tape end during recording and playback
- External power terminal (3V, polarity unified #1)
- Detachable strap included (We will deduct 100 yen if you do not need it. Please inform us before purchasing.)

Repair Details: Please refer to images 6, 7, and 8.

Notes:
- Due to the extensive wiring that needs to be disconnected and reconnected for maintenance, we have long anticipated a significant price increase. This time, we have substantially raised the price to address the newly discovered malfunctions. Unless competitors emerge who perform similar maintenance at a lower price, we will ignore requests for price reductions. We may gradually lower the price at our discretion, but the minimum price will be 6500 yen (with strap included).
- There are quite a few scratches. Please refer to images 4 and 5.
- This sale is for the main unit and strap only. Please prepare your own recording tapes and two AA batteries separately.
- This is a monaural tape recorder. If you connect headphones to the earphone jack, only the left channel will play. If you wish to listen with both ears, please prepare a 2-pole male to 3-pole female conversion adapter.
