Description

SOULS Gimbal Support Belt
2022 Model

Purchased in 2024, used 2 times.

The biggest feature is that it lowers the gimbal attachment point, meaning the fulcrum is lower. This allows you to handle shorter rods and fight bigger fish with the same amount of strength as before.

The support belt is worn not around the waist like conventional commercial support belts, but from just below the hip bones down to the top of the buttocks. The gimbal attaches between the legs, fitting snugly against the inner thigh. Because of this, conventional gimbals designed to be worn on the waist will not fit well as their curvature is reversed. The SOULS gimbal is designed to fit the inner thigh.

This allows you to apply more force without strain. The size is also minimized to allow for movement on deck during casting and fighting. Its effectiveness is maximized when used with the support belt. The SOULS gimbal is the culmination of Ichiro Sato's expertise in gimbal belts.
