Rocktron HUSH IICX Noise Reduction System

The HUSH IICX is a 2-channel rackmount noise reduction system manufactured by Rocktron. It removes noise generated by guitars and effects pedals, achieving a clear sound without compromising the original tone.

It also supports LINE input and stereo linking, allowing you to use it with older audio sources with significant hiss, such as cassette tapes. Its natural noise reduction characteristics enable mastering with reduced noise.

We have confirmed that the noise reduction functions by operating each adjustment control.

This unit is an effect that removes high-frequency noise such as white noise. It is not effective against noise such as pop noise or power hum.

A concern since purchase: When the surroundings are quiet, the unit hums with the power frequency.
Upon inquiring with the seller about this, we were informed that it is normal for the thick iron cover to vibrate slightly because the power transformer is close to the top cover. They also stated that this does not cause any noise to be mixed into the signal.
The unit does not have a power switch, and it seems to have a slightly different feel from Japanese-brand products.
Just in case, after prolonged operation, the power transformer was only slightly warm to the touch.

While it is currently operational, due to it being an older piece of equipment, please understand that this is a no-claim, no-return sale.
