This is a popular mic preamplifier, but the exact cause of the malfunction is unknown, whether it's the microphone connection or the gain section. Occasionally, no signal is input. Wiggling the gain knob often resolves the issue.

It's an intermittent problem; it generally works fine, but sometimes there's no sound, so repairs will likely be necessary at some point. As of the end of 2025, Sound House appears to be the designated support contact.

While it often works, there is no guarantee. I am selling this because I have acquired a new unit instead of repairing it.

It has been racked for a long time, resulting in scratches and paint peeling on the ears, but it is generally clean. However, please purchase with the understanding that the sound may or may not work regardless of its cosmetic condition.

The box has been discarded, so only the main unit and the included power cable will be provided.
