Roland RE-501 Chorus Echo Tape Echo In Good Working Condition

Product Description:
Introducing the Roland RE-501 Chorus Echo, the pinnacle of Roland's tape echo series.
Despite being a vintage unit from the 1980s, its charm lies in the warm, three-dimensional sound produced by genuine magnetic tape, something modern digital simulators can never replicate.

【Operational Status】

Tape Transport: Stable, rotating smoothly without any tangles or jams.

Effects: Echo, chorus, and spring reverb all function correctly.

Maintenance: Some knobs had crackling noise (static), but this has been resolved through cleaning with contact cleaner and repeated turning, allowing for comfortable operation.

*Please note that due to the nature of vintage equipment, crackling may reoccur due to vibrations during shipping or long-term storage. We appreciate your understanding.

【Appearance and Condition】

Age-Related Wear: As the unit is over 40 years old, there is overall evidence of use.

Paint and Metal Parts: Paint peeling is visible in various areas. Additionally, strong oxidation (rust) is noticeable on metal parts such as the handle. Removable parts have been cleaned with solvent.

Recommended for those who appreciate the character unique to vintage items and prioritize sound quality over appearance. Please refer to the photos for details.

【Specifications】

Power: 100V (This is a domestic Japanese specification, so it can be used as is).

【About Transactions】

Please refrain from returning the item due to its external condition or minor noise.

【Shipping】
As this is a heavy and very delicate piece of precision equipment, it will be shipped with extreme care, using thick cushioning material (bubble wrap) for robust packaging.
