Microphone unopened, instruction manual (English)

This is a CD player that can hold two CDs and allows for playful DJ-like use.
It also has an FM radio, but it does not pick up any signals, possibly due to the frequency band being different as it is an overseas product.
I purchased this a long time ago at Village Vanguard. I used it a few times and then stored it.
I have confirmed that it works and plays sound, but the reading is poor, and I feel the pickup lens is weak. Since the instruction manual is in English, I didn't understand how to use it and couldn't master it.
One side of the power plug is larger. (It fits in the Japanese standard, but) I have included a picture of a compatible plug adapter at the end.
It seems to operate on batteries as well (unconfirmed).
This is an overseas product that has been adapted for use in Japan, so it has quite a few quirks.

Would this be of interest to someone knowledgeable about old audio equipment, someone looking for this specific item, or someone who can repair it?
It is usable in its current condition, but please consider it as junk.
This is a very old overseas product.
The box is quite damaged, but the main unit itself has no visible scratches.
It is made entirely of plastic, giving it a toy-like feel.
