This is a Showa retro product, a National (now Panasonic) AM/FM radio with a flip clock, model RC-6001.
During operational checks, only the AM radio can be heard.
The digital clock's numbers move when the dial is manually operated, and the alarm sounds at the set time (automatic setting is not possible).
