SUPERLIGHT SOLO BIVY
This bivy sack is incredibly lightweight at an actual measured weight of 170g and features a shape that can be suspended from above. It offers excellent water repellency.
While not a fully waterproof bivy, it is significantly lighter than waterproof models and offers the following three advantages:
■ As a water-repellent bivy, it provides approximately 5°C of warmth during sleep, allowing you to use a sleeping bag rated for warmer temperatures. The bathtub-style floor eliminates the need for a ground sheet, contributing to overall weight reduction.
■ When combined with a floorless shelter or used for cowboy camping, it prevents insects like mosquitoes and ticks from entering. The mesh head section prevents condensation from breath.
■ You don't have to worry about your sleeping bag getting wet from condensation. On clear days, you can sleep without setting up a tarp or floorless shelter, enjoying nature directly.
This is a well-balanced model that allows you to easily experience the appeal of a bivy, designed for lighter, faster hiking and enjoying wilder nature.
It is also highly recommended for those who want to try tarp camping or using floorless shelters.
