SONY ICF-1100 "THE-11" Radio and Stereo Adapter Set

A rare set including:
1. A portable SONY ICF-1100 FM/AM radio receiver
2. The dedicated stereo adapter STA-110F

* [The main radio unit (item ① above) does not power on when used alone (cause unknown), but it can be used without issue when connected to the stereo adapter (item ② above) and powered by a 100V source, used as a single unit.]

☆ This is the Sony THE-11 transistor radio (①), which was a sensation in the Showa era for its outstanding performance and high sound quality, along with its dedicated stereo adapter (②). By connecting the adapter STA-110F and using them together, you can listen to FM stereo broadcasts. The radio itself offers very high sensitivity and excellent sound quality.

△ There are no noticeable scratches or dirt, but there is age-related deterioration consistent with its age.
△ The volume control on the radio unit may produce crackling noise. The volume control on the adapter side is fine.

➡ The radio unit ① does not power on and does not operate when used alone (with batteries or AC adapter) (I am an amateur and the cause is unknown), but it operates without any problems when connected to the stereo adapter ② (which supplies power to both units from a 100V AC power source) and used as a single unit.

* Although this set originally had the following three power sources available, only ③ is currently usable:
① DC 4.5V power from 3 AA batteries stored inside the radio (not working).
② DC 4.5V power from an external AC 100V conversion transformer adapter (not working).
③ Used as a single unit (connected to the AC 100V power supply included with the stereo adapter) (➡ usable).

◎ Given this condition, please use it if you understand the details and can utilize it.
