NATIONAL PANASONIC World Boy Radio RF-690
44.22 $
Description
Showa Retro Radio (circa 1972)
This is an old item, so there is some static when operating the terminals and dials, but it is fine for general use.
*The battery compartment is clean, but I used an external adapter to power it from an outlet. I will include this adapter, a Japanese-made Keyence adapter, with the set.
This RF-690 is said to be the first model to bear the name World Boy.
In addition to FM and AM reception, you can adjust the sound quality with the variable tone control (music, soft, news, etc.).
The backlight for the memory function also lights up.
*Please note that condition is subjective, so only purchase if you understand that this is a used item.
Sold as-is.
