AMATERAS 0002 OEP Line Transformer
167.64 $
Description
The AMATERAS 0002 OEP is a high-quality line transformer that delivers professional sound quality.
Commonly known as Neeve-kun (Little Neve).
It was recently in use.
My actual experience using it was that the gain increased slightly, the midrange came forward, and the bass was enhanced.
That was my impression of the unit.
There are no issues with the sound quality, but there is a somewhat deep paint scratch on the front panel.
Please refer to the photos for the overall exterior condition.

OEP/Carnhill Transformer (made in the UK):
This Carnhill transformer is used in current NEVE products and many high-end replica models. It is the transformer that most closely replicates the sound quality of vintage NEVE units today. It has a unique push in the low-midrange, with a silky, clinging texture. It is also ideal for electric instruments such as guitars, basses, acoustic-electrics, and synthesizers. It produces the warmest and sweetest sound. It creates a solid and stable feel for any sound, giving tracks presence during mixing.
