When copying between drives, you need to disconnect the USB or turn off the PC. When copying from 250GB to 2000GB, a 250GB partition will be created on the receiving 2000GB drive and will not be expanded to 2000GB. Honestly, it's much faster to recognize it as a hard drive and do it via PC.) When connected to a PC via USB cable, the PC can access the drive (like an external hard drive).
