Description

This is an FM/AM tuner released in 1978 (¥42,000) by TRIO (now KENWOOD), a prestigious audio and communications equipment manufacturer.
While there are signs of age, it is in relatively good condition for its age (photos taken outdoors may make it appear slightly dull...).
Listening to the soft sound quality of FM broadcasts while gazing at the subtle light in a darkened room is very relaxing.
Its retro appearance also blends well with modern interiors.
I live in Tokyo's 23 wards, and with a T-shaped antenna, I can clearly receive NHK-FM, TOKYO-FM, J-WAVE, interfm, etc.
I can also receive FM supplementary broadcasts like TBS Radio and文化放送.
If you have a cable TV subscription, your service may include an FM output.
The sound quality is truly analog and soft.
A T-shaped antenna is included (please pin the antenna vertically to the wall, pointing towards the transmitter of your local FM radio station).

★Reception quality depends on your home's structure and location.

External dimensions: Width 440 x Height 153 (146) x Depth 402mm
Weight: 7.2kg
