■SONY AM-Only Pocketable Radio ICB-3300 (1979)
This model appears to have been released in 1979. It might be the first pocketable radio to use an IC with a 4-digit model number. It's a bit larger than typical pocketable radios for its time, especially considering it uses an IC. It boasts high sensitivity due to its high-frequency amplification. As indicated by the RF marking on the unit, it employs a high-frequency amplification circuit, which seems to be its selling point.
・Power Source: AA x 2
・Transistors, etc.: 5 TR, 1 IC
・Bar Antenna: Approx. 50mm
・Speaker*: 50mm
・Audio Output*: 150mW (EIAJ)
・Controls: Volume with Power Switch, Tuning
・Reception Frequency: AM: 530 - 1605 kHz
・Dimensions: W130mm x H62mm x D30mm / 190g (excluding batteries)
●There is discoloration on the front grille. The unit is in working condition with good sensitivity. The hinge for the volume control feels a bit loose, and while there are no current issues, it's a point of concern.
