This is a model released by Toshiba around 1981 for ¥84,800, positioned as a high-end unit. It features the ADRES noise reduction system, significantly reducing hiss and achieving high sound quality. The sound is clear, faithful to the original, and virtually free of noise.
It uses an AS (All Sendust) head for recording and playback, offering excellent magnetic properties and wear resistance.
The capstan motor employs a stable direct drive system.
The capstan belt, pinch roller, and other parts have been replaced, and the unit has been disassembled and cleaned.
Please note that rewinding may be slow when starting operation. If this occurs, performing a fast forward or playback will usually restore normal rotation. Regular use is recommended.

1. Replaced capstan belt, counter belt, and pinch roller.
2. Re-greased mechanical parts, cleaned around the heads, and demagnetized the heads.
3. Replaced semi-fixed resistors on the main board.
4. Disassembled and cleaned switches for ADRES, bias, etc.
5. Performed basic adjustments for azimuth, tape speed, and recording/playback levels using a reference tape.

The front panel is clean, but there are minor scratches and scuffs elsewhere. Please refrain from bidding if you are concerned about these imperfections.
