SSL / Solid State Logic Fusion [Excellent Condition]

Thank you for viewing.

I assume those looking at this listing need no introduction, but this is the SSL Fusion, a pioneering presence in transformers.

I purchased it new at Miyaji Gakki around a month ago, in early September 2025. I've used it only 2-3 times for mixing, and there are no operational issues. (If you wish, I can share the purchase email screen with the personal information section mosaiced out.)

The reason for selling is to transition to the Rupert Neve Designs MBT, so it's not due to any dissatisfaction with the equipment.

Here are my personal thoughts after trying both units: Fusion and MBT each have their unique characteristics. Fusion offers an SSL-like drive and a cohesive texture, while MBT has a modern feel with the RND-specific transformers providing a glossy, rich atmosphere. Personally, I find the latter's atmosphere better suited to my production/mixing style. While I'd love to keep it close, it feels like it would be a waste, so I've decided to part with the Fusion.

Furthermore, Fusion is equipped with SEND/RETURN, offering expandability for inserting master bus compressors, etc. The ability to choose whether to place them before or after the EQ is also a strength that MBT lacks.

In conjunction with the above, I am also selling a bus compressor from WARM AUDIO. For those interested in purchasing both items, I have prepared a set price page offering a discount. Please take a look if you are interested. (Note: If either item sells, the other listing will be removed.)

Although the item is new, I purchased it with a damaged box, so it may not be in the original retail packaging.

There are also several scratches on both sides from rack mounting. Please consider this a used item and only proceed with your purchase if you understand this. (Please refer to the photos.)

Accessories, excluding the main unit, include everything except the original box, such as the power cable.

Currently, there are no plans for a price reduction.

There is a heater mark sticker on the top panel, and the official documentation also states that it should be cooled frequently due to heat buildup. I will also include a fan purchased from Amazon if you wish. Please let me know via message at the time of purchase whether you need it or not.

Due to work commitments, shipping may take some time. Thank you for your understanding.
