Description
This is a Bose CD audio system.
Model Number: Wave Music System III
Includes: Main unit, power cord, small remote control (with test batteries included), copy of the instruction manual, external antenna (compatible, cord has been repaired), and AUX cord.
The main unit has scratches, fading, and sticker residue.
All SMD electrolytic capacitors and the backup electric double-layer capacitor have been replaced as a preventative measure.
The pickup lens has been cleaned.
The FM radio has been upgraded to wideband reception. FM reception range is 76-95MHz.
The screw holes for the cabinet were damaged, so they have been reinforced with welding and Pliarepair before replacing the screws.
*Note: The Wave Music System series is prone to malfunctions if the surface-mount capacitors and backup capacitors are not all replaced.*
Tested FM and AM radio, AUX input, and playback/track selection with CDs and CD-Rs (guarantee for all CD-Rs cannot be provided...).
The unit has been tested for several days after maintenance. As this is an older product, future operation cannot be guaranteed.
