Description
This is a Cougar 115 that has been serviced and cleaned, resulting in a very beautiful condition. All parts are present, and the original earphones appear to be stored in the battery compartment. The earphones have been cleaned with alcohol and detergent, but it is up to the owner to decide whether to use them.
There is a lot of information about this model online, so please research it yourself.
It features a large 16cm speaker that produces a powerful sound, surprisingly robust for a portable device.
The separate tone controls are also quite effective for this class of radio.
The reason for listing AM as having issues is that only the AM sensitivity is very low, and despite checking several points, it could not be repaired.
However, NHK Radio 1 can be received clearly.
The FM and the shortwave 3-band, which is a selling point of this model, seem to be functioning without problems.
An AC cord with a dragonfly eye plug is included.
If there are any defects other than AM sensitivity for which the buyer is not responsible, we will respond sincerely, including returns, before you leave a review.
