Tamiya Avante (2011) [Includes Electronics, Titanium Screws, Never Run Outdoors]

This is a TAMIYA RC car, the Avante (2011). It was assembled this year and has not been run outdoors.

New electronic components are included, so it is ready to run if you provide your own transmitter, receiver, and NiCd battery.

This compact type protrudes less than a standard servo (see image 10).

This set offers weight reduction, corrosion resistance, and an upgraded appearance with silver hex screws, as shown in image 11.

- Tamiya OP.596 Aluminum Servo Stay ¥660 (tax included)
Replaced the included black plastic part.

- Driver Doll
Painted using genuine Tamiya acrylic paints, almost exactly as per the instruction manual.

- Carbon Parts such as Carbon Deck
Cyanoacrylate adhesive has been applied to the sides as per the instruction manual to protect the carbon layers.

- Body, Wing, Under Cover
The body has been treated with a three-layer process of Tamiya's specified genuine PS spray: Metallic Blue → Bright Silver → Black, to prevent transparency. There are some areas with uneven coloring.
There are minor cracks near the body mounting holes from assembly, minor splits, and a slight tear on the wing as shown in the image, which has been reinforced from the inside with black aluminum mesh tape.
The stickers have been applied with Hasegawa TF25 Ultra-Thin Transparent Double-Sided Adhesive Sheet ¥880 (tax included) on the inside to mitigate peeling during crashes.
However, there are some gaps between the stickers and the body (though they are unlikely to peel off during running).

This model was carefully assembled using RC-specific tools, but please understand that it was built by an amateur.

The wing and tires will be removed and shipped in the original box. Although not pictured, the kit's included black antenna pipe will also be enclosed.
