This digital amplifier was planned by Luxman and stereo. It is the third product following the highly popular and sold-out LXA-OT1 and LXA-OT3 which were previously included as bonuses. The circuit board size and design have been completely reviewed from LXA-OT1 and LXA-OT3, and with the chassis included, the rated output is 20W+20W (8Ω to 4Ω), representing a significant improvement.
As expected from Luxman. Don't underestimate this as just a kit bonus. It easily drives not only bookshelf speakers but also regular small tallboy speakers.
It comes in a limited edition wooden case made of innocence spruce wood by Fidelity Sound. Actually, anyone who listens can tell within seconds that the sound quality is superior with the wooden case (my wife was also surprised). This wooden case is difficult to obtain separately, but it is essential for the LXA-04 to perform at its best. It has been finished with beeswax, giving it a beautiful amber hue. {Note} There is a slight dent from impact on the lower left of the front of the case. Please forgive any other oversights.
The operational amplifier has been replaced with the high-precision, high-speed Difet(R) operational amplifier OPA627BP, which is difficult to obtain now and contributes to high sound quality. The original JRC45558D is also included.
Additionally, the speaker output terminals are wire connections, which can be inconvenient. We are including 4 wire to banana plug conversion terminals to make this much easier! However, please be careful to avoid short circuits between wires.

The sound quality is highly transparent, conveying powerful energy. It produces incredible bass and rich mid-bass, which is unbelievable given its simple structure. It has a high S/N ratio and high sound density. The appeal this time lies in its enhanced energy drive and high-resolution response. The low frequencies are powerful with strong damping. The mid and high frequencies are delicately clear, reproducing overtones with high resolution. This is an integrated amplifier that you will definitely want to use.
