This is a vacuum tube graphic equalizer kit made by Luxman. It is an appendix to the STEREO edition of the ONTOMO MOOK The Ultimate Sound Adjustment: A Study of Vacuum Tube Graphic Equalizers. The graphic equalizer is adjustable with 5 bands (55Hz/220Hz/880Hz/3.5kHz/14kHz) at ±8dB. It includes an equalizer on/off switch.

The LVX-OT9 has a vacuum tube placed before the equalizer circuit, so even when the equalizer is OFF, it adds harmonics through its harmonizer effect, resulting in sound that has passed through a vacuum tube! The included vacuum tube is a high-performance model, the JJ ECC82 made in Slovakia, which is also used in high-end audio equipment. Precision 1% resistors are also used, demonstrating performance far exceeding its price.
