The texture and weight are completely different (cast net is 4kg, this gillnet is around 40-45g).
The thread is thin (around #0.5). Thinner threads entangle fish more easily and are less affected by water currents. This gillnet prioritizes catching fish over durability.
As a result, it is lightweight and has a toy-like feel.
The weights are simply secured along the groove and can easily come off. Weights may detach in several places during shipping.
Since the weights are light, it is essential to secure the net with stones in areas with water flow.
This is a set net, not a cast gillnet.

This is a versatile size with ample room vertically and horizontally. It can cover wider areas and allows for complex setups like bag nets or angled nets by utilizing its length.
Setting up multiple nets upstream and downstream is effective for efficiently catching fish. The first net also prevents debris from upstream.
The 1m height means the usable range is about 80cm of transparent thread, with a reach up to knee height.
It has floats and weights attached to the top and bottom.
The net should be set loosely, not taut, to entangle fish in the mesh.
To maintain the looseness of the net, the green twisted cords at the top and bottom are made of non-stretching PE material, so the usable length is effectively about 10-14m.
The mesh size is about the width of one finger (15mm per side), making it a versatile size perfect for small fish like minnows, pale chub, small bass, and small ayu (10-18cm).
This net's success is 100% dependent on its setup. The catch is entirely determined by the location and method of setting. It's a trap to enjoy by reading the fish's location and water flow, and figuring out how to set the net.

It's best to unfold the net at the fishing spot, as it can become unrecoverable if unfolded indoors. Due to the above reasons, it's impossible to inspect the net after unfolding, so please understand this point.
