This is a 3Y-P1 output tube.
These are 2 tubes out of a lot of 5 purchased individually from a bulk box for maintenance purposes. Operation has been confirmed. The 3Y-P1 is an output tube with the same electrical characteristics as the 6Z-P1, which was used in 5-tube superheterodyne radios, but it uses a 5-pin (UY) socket.
G3 and K are internally connected to the heater midpoint. Therefore, although it is a indirectly heated cathode tube, it is used like a directly heated cathode tube.
An example of use with self-bias is shown. (With some ingenuity in circuit constants, it can also be used interchangeably with the directly heated cathode tube 47.)
