This is a mid-length twin fish shaped by San Diego legend Rich Pavel.
The most notable feature of this board is its provenance. This board was shaped by Rich Pavel for Australian shaper Neal Purchase Jnr (NPJ) himself. It is a board that NPJ used and then let go of. This is a unique piece, shaped by a shaper for a shaper, setting it apart from regular custom orders.

The fins are glass-on keels from Larry Gephart, the originator of keel fins for fish. These fins embody the tradition of San Diego, the home of the fish.
When purchasing, I was told that even if the board broke, I should cut these fins off and keep them.
