The amplifier features vacuum tubes in the first stage of the pre-amplifier. The even-order harmonic distortion generated by the vacuum tubes creates harmonics that enrich the sound of musical instruments.
Vacuum tubes alone lack the power to drive speakers dynamically. A digital power amplifier is incorporated in the second stage of the amplifier, reproducing a dynamic yet delicate, rich, and pleasant sound quality.
Inspired by traditional Japanese handmade paper techniques, the Double-Layered Paper Manufacturing Method creates an ideal material for speaker cone paper by layering materials with different properties on the front and back surfaces, even though it is a single sheet of paper.
The front surface of the speaker cone paper uses Mitsumata, a representative Japanese paper material, to reproduce clear and realistic mid-to-high frequencies. The back surface uses a highly elastic pulp material with excellent internal loss to reproduce rich low frequencies.
