A rave party that began with the theme NEW CHAPTER OF HOUSE AND TECHNO.
MAYDAY, a rave party that began in '91 centered around Westbam, the organizer of LOW SPIRIT, is a techno festival representing Europe along with Berlin's LOVE PARADE. For the past few years, it has been held in Dortmund, a small rural town a little distance from Frankfurt. MAYDAY, which initially started as a cutting-edge rave party with the theme NEW CHAPTER OF HOUSE AND TECHNO and featured artists like Aphex Twin and Joey Beltram, functions as a venue to introduce new dance music to many people and to convey the hedonistic atmosphere unique to raves.
From Japan, Takkyu Ishino and Denki Groove, who are well-known in the German techno scene, have performed at this event.
