100% Silk Geometric Pattern Long Gown, Red Pink, Made in France Charvet gowns were exclusively for nobility. A new one would cost ¥580,000. As it is vintage, there are some stains on the cuffs, etc., but considering it's a silk material over 30 years old, I believe it's in good condition. The feel of the silk is superb. The price is understandable when you consider using silk of this magnitude, which is usually used for ties, and that it's handmade by French tailors.
