As an amateur, I have confirmed the following: When the rightmost button on the unit is turned on with a different power cord from my home, multiple lamps light up, and the central screen displays. I have confirmed operation of the central display and volume up/down using the remote control. Other functions have not been tested.

[Excerpt: This control amplifier is an improved version based on the C40, incorporating further refined technology and know-how. It features an equalizer circuit using newly designed operational amplifiers, with optimal NFB to minimize distortion and noise. High-precision metal film resistors and high-quality polypropylene capacitors are used to achieve precise RIAA curve characteristics. Digital signal-controlled reed relays are used for the switching elements of the nine input/output signals, reducing signal degradation. These relays are gold-plated and then re-plated with rhodium and tellurium to enhance contact reliability. Furthermore, the relays are housed in glass tubes filled with inert gas to prevent increased contact resistance due to corrosion. The C42 further purifies the signal by separating the controller section from the signal processing circuit, creating the shortest possible layout from input to output, while leveraging the features of the input selector function.
It is equipped with an 8-band equalizer function, an expansion of the conventional 5-band equalizer.
