This is a sturdy, handmade sabiki basket capable of extremely long casts at river mouths on surf!
The hard styrofoam float on the sabiki basket is used to keep the sabiki rig floating above the seabed. Large horse mackerel often swim near the seabed.
To withstand long casts, we use durable components!

The high-strength silicone rubber tube with phosphorescent properties appeals to fish.

【Please Note】
The individual parts used in the sabiki baskets may occasionally change. For example, the size of the swivels or the color of the float may differ from the photos. Please understand this before purchasing.

Surf Fishing Spots
Large horse mackerel swim near the drop-offs on surf!
However! On surf, the main line is inevitably swept by waves. To minimize this, the best you can do is to set up a rod holder vertically and rest your rod on it!
Many people make their own rod holders for surf fishing!
I have some, but they are all made of iron, and the downside is their weight!! They stick firmly in the sand, though!
For long casting on surf, you'll often need to cast with full force, so be careful about the thickness of the sabiki rig's main line to prevent it from breaking!
