A masterpiece preamplifier from British QUAD: the 33 Preamplifier.
This is a rare working unit. Its rich, shaded sound with a sweet, humid quality is musical and embodies the British sound. It's also an attractive system when paired with the 405 power amplifier, also listed separately.
Main Specifications:
1 Phono input, 3 Line inputs. W260 x H92 x D165mm, 3kg.
The phono equalizer section, in particular, produces an excellent sound, and the various filters are very effective for listening to analog records. This is a preamplifier that truly makes listening to analog records enjoyable.
The exterior is beautifully maintained, considering its age.
The main volume and balance controls are in good condition with no crackling.
