Bait Rig Cage L Rocket Cage Night Fishing Large Horse Mackerel Surf Long Cast Cage Fishing

Popular item!
This is a set of 5 Bukkomi Sabiki fishing baskets.

These are homemade rigs designed for catching horse mackerel from surf and piers.

Horse mackerel caught from shore, like the Golden Horse Mackerel, are different from those caught offshore.
This is because they have a richer diet (eating crustaceans like warekare).

Why not try catching horse mackerel with our Bukkomi Sabiki basket?

Of course, you can catch other fish too! (^-^)

Key Feature 1:
Enables long-distance casting from surf and river mouths! We use durable small parts
to allow for extremely long casts with heavy rigs.

Key Feature 2:
Uses a hard foam float.
The float's purpose is not to detect bites, but simply to
float the sabiki rig.
We've achieved durability by using hard materials that can withstand long casts and reinforcing the hole with metal.

Key Feature 3:
Equipped with high-strength swivels!
This reduces the risk of the rig slipping off during casting (which can be dangerous)
and minimizes the loss of sabiki baskets.

Key Feature 4:
Soft Super Glow Ball
Using a large ball improves cushioning
(interference between the plastic part of the basket and the metal part of the swivel can lead to basket breakage).

The large, phosphorescent night glow ball strongly attracts fish!

Night fishing for horse mackerel (targeting 30cm+ fish)

For this Bukkomi Sabiki Basket, use commercially available sabiki rigs:
① Main line size 7 or larger
Leader size 5 or larger
Horse mackerel hooks size 9-10

② Skin type lures are recommended.
Fish skin lures are significantly less effective during night fishing.

③ Bait: Just use krill chum in the basket.

④ Target locations:
River mouths are hidden gems.
Are there any undeveloped river mouths (sandy areas) near your fishing spot? It might be an undiscovered paradise. ^_^

While long-distance casting with a basket rig is effective, when fishing from the surf,
the waves can make your main line difficult to manage.

Keep the chum basket fully open until fish gather.
Once you get a bite, close the chum basket and cast frequently to keep the fish in the area!
