These headphones are designed for professional DJs, with replaceable cables and reversible earcups. They are also excellent for casual listening. You can swap the coiled cable for a straight one. Part of the ear pad was torn, so it has been repaired with adhesive. The surface of the head pad had deteriorated, so it has been removed. Both the ear pads and head pad can be replaced with new ones, as they are consumable parts. The headphones themselves have no lifespan. They have been thoroughly aged (broken in), so the sound is truly superb. They look cool when used with a smartphone for listening outdoors.
