Based on multiple demo event experiences, even the S size has power comparable to the M size of previous models like the Hydro and Flow X. I believe the feeling of catching the water is overwhelmingly superior to the synergy X.
While the synergy X might be better for long distances, I highly recommend this for those who want to paddle long distances with downwind, sprints, or strokes, those who want to feel the water grip firmly, and those who want to leave their rivals behind with a single stroke.
