【Legged Go Board】Katsura Wood, Plain Grain, Approx. 14.5cm Thickness, With Navel, Includes Go Stones

This is a leg-mounted Go board that was received during the organization of an old house.

[Material]
Judging from its reddish hue and strong wood grain, it is likely made of Katsura (Japanese Judas tree) wood, a classic material loved since ancient times. The wood grain is Itame (flat-sawn) with a mountain-shaped pattern. While not the highest quality Kaya wood, you can enjoy the solid feel of playing on Katsura wood.

[Condition]
For this listing, the top surface (playing surface) has been lightly cleaned with a tightly wrung cloth. There are signs of age such as overall sun fading, scratches, and dirt.
Some of the grid lines are also worn.

One of the legs has a slight wobble.
There is a heso (a recess to enhance acoustic effect) on the underside.

Due to its weight and the susceptibility of the corners to chipping, the corners will be protected with cushioning material, the entire board will be wrapped in bubble wrap, and then carefully packed in a cardboard box for secure shipping. Shipping is free.
