Domestic Japanese Kaya Go Board, 5.7 inches, Wood Grain, Unused After Repair

This is a 5.7-inch Kaya wood Go board, wood grain surface, unused after repair.

Dimensions are approximately 419 x 457 x 286mm, with a board thickness of 173mm.
This is a wood grain surface Go board made from domestic Kaya wood (although not guaranteed, the appearance of the end grain suggests it is from Hyuga). It has o-ire (a type of crack or gap) and single-layered leg veneers. It has the characteristic pleasant aroma of domestic Kaya wood.

This board belonged to my late grandfather and was used about 60-70 years ago. However, due to severe damage such as playing marks, it was fully repaired by Yachimata Go board shop in Chiba. It has been unused since the repair. Please zoom in on the photos to check the details of the repair.
