Description
Thank you for viewing.
This is a set of 3 unused bamboo traps for eels, loaches, and small fish, also known as shikake, uke, do, or taru.
These traps were stored in a wooden box in a warehouse, still in their bags. It is believed my father purchased them for catching loaches to trap eels. They are over 10 years old, but are in beautiful condition due to being well-preserved. Two of them still have the maker's tags attached.
The sizes of the three traps vary.
Please refer to the images for dimensions.
These items have been stored in a warehouse for a long time.
