Kuwa (Mulberry): Indicates that the material is Kuwa (mulberry wood). Mulberry wood has beautiful grain and develops a deep,飴色 (ame-iro - caramel-colored) patina with use, making it considered a top-quality material for Go stone containers.
Adzuchi: This refers to the shape (mold) of the Go stone container. The traditional Adzuchi-gata (Adzuchi shape) refers to a slightly plump shape with a unique curved beauty.
