VIVAHDE
Yama no Utsuwa (Mountain Bowl) CUP Brown
Size: Diameter 82mm, Height 83mm
Weight: 58g
Capacity: 300ml (filled to the brim)
Material: Domestic natural wood (Zelkova)
Finish: Urethane coating for tableware
A new cup has been added to the Yama no Utsuwa series.
The curve of the rim represents mountain ridges. Please enjoy your drink from your usual spot, a different spot, or wherever you feel like it, depending on your mood. The design of the rim embodies the joy of finding your favorite mountain.
The material used is domestic Zelkova (Keyaki), cut along the grain. The advantage of cutting along the grain is that it is less prone to warping.
As a unique feature that also serves as decoration, the inner markings allow you to measure: the bottom line indicates 1 go of uncooked rice (approx. 180ml), the middle line indicates the water needed to cook 1 go of rice (approx. 215ml), and the top line indicates the water needed to cook 1 go of pre-washed rice (approx. 235ml).
When paired with the separately sold leather sleeve, it can also be used as a cup with a handle.
Finished with a urethane coating for tableware, it has heat resistance up to 100°C, so you can use it with confidence even with hot beverages.
After use, please wash with a neutral dish soap and allow to air dry.
No oiling or other maintenance is required.
