This is the first Roland SP-404.

Following the BOSS SP-202 and SP-303, this model is popular both domestically and internationally as a lo-fi sampler. Its sound is rougher than the Roland SP-404SX, and when effects like Vinyl Sim and Comp are applied, the sound becomes thicker, creating a unique tone characteristic of this unit. It is said that famous overseas beatmakers like Teebs and DIBIA$E, as well as BUDAMUNK and tajima ha in Japan, still prefer and use the First Roland SP-404 for this reason.

Sampling from external input, main input/output, headphone jack, each pad, rotary knobs, and effect functionality have all been checked and confirmed to be in working order. As shown in the photos, the battery compartment is also clean.
