■This adapter allows you to connect Thunderbolt or
Thunderbolt 2 devices, such as external hard drives and
Thunderbolt docks, to all Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) and
USB 4 ports on your Mac.
It is a bidirectional adapter, so you can also connect new Thunderbolt 3 devices
to a Mac with a Thunderbolt port or Thunderbolt 2 port and macOS Sierra or later.
It can also be used to connect Thunderbolt-enabled displays, such as
Apple Thunderbolt Display or LG Thunderbolt 2 Display, to the
Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) and USB 4 ports on your Mac.
However, when used with the Apple Thunderbolt Display,
the display cannot be powered through the adapter, so a separate power source is required.
Note: This adapter does not support DisplayPort displays such as the Apple LED Cinema Display or
