This is a limited edition from the 90th anniversary, now a rare find.
The gold buckle matches the dark brown leather beautifully.
The buckle is positioned low, similar to the suede 8268,
creating an impactful look when seen from the bottom of your pants.
It can be used in rotation with other engineer boots for different outfits.

The atmosphere is quite different from the 2268 or 8268.
(The feel when worn is the same.)

The sole rubber has been replaced by a specialist.
US Vibram 430, 19mm height.
It features a heel curve similar to the original.
There is no discomfort in silhouette or fit.

No cracks or damage are visible on the inner insole.
I wore them with an insole.

There are signs of rust on the brass buckle.
It has not been plated, giving it a unique character.

There are cracks and tears in the leather around the opening.
There are some signs of use for motorcycling on the left boot.
